The GROW-PLOW Coaching Model, developed in 1994 by Alan Fine, is a powerful and effective tool for personal and professional development. The GROW-PLOW acronym stands for Goal, Reality, Options, Wrap-up and Plan or Learn/Organize/Do/Wow. It encourages users to self-reflect on their current situations, as well as providing a framework to review and evaluate options so that they can create achievable goals with achievable steps towards success. This model provides the perfect balance between problem solving and goal setting strategies which can be used in a variety of contexts – from individual goals to strategic planning. By taking an organized approach towards an individual's personal or professional objectives, the GROW-PLOW model can truly help foster positive change and transformative growth.
